I'm a 53 year-old male. I'm married and live near Portland Oregon.
I used to be a vegan. That's when I started using the name VeggieDog, but even though I'm not vegan/veg any longer I still like the name VeggieDog.
I became an atheist at 16 when I finally realized religion is just a bunch of BS.
Politically, I'm all over the place. I agree with some aspects of both Conservatives and Liberals, so I guess that makes me a Libertarian, but I'm not sure about that.
My personal philosophy is that we should be allowed to do anything we want as long as we don't hurt others. I think that's the Wiccan Code, but I'm not Wiccan.
Have a nice day.
Ouch, you had me up until "libertarian". I will never be an economic conservative, they have proven to be the party of the 1%. And while libertarians are social liberals they still hold the same "let the rich write our laws" as the GOP.
NO we should not allow each other to do whatever we want. We have traffic lights and speed limits. Now if you want less government, business can get that by not expecting workers to pay for their tax breaks and give directly to workers in better pay and lower cost of living.
Pot should be legal and gays should be able to get married, but anyone who thinks allowing big corporations to write our laws for us has been working is out of their minds.
But outside that, welcome.
