Giant Eagle, a big grocery chain in the mid-Atlantic, sold Marmite when I lived there. My understanding, which may be faulty, is that there's a UK Marmite and an Aussie Marmite...and a Vegemite. I think the stuff I had was UK Marmite, but I couldn't tell you how they differ. I tried it on a whim one day and was addicted. Breakfast every day was toast with butter and the Marmite, and maybe cereal or fruit.
