I was asking more along the lines of whether or not women have made the request. 

They have not, ever.  I have honestly never been approached in that manner by a woman.

Why is it that a lot of gay men (at least the ones I've met) tend to be attracted to the younger, typically shy straight men?

Not saying that all are, but if you can shed some light on why I am hit on so much, it would be great.

I cannot speak for other gay men, but it has happened to me where I have fallen for straight guys.  I do not fall for every straight guy I see, but just the ones I feel a particular connection toward; one could refer to it as the cliche love at first sight.  We are quite aware that we have no future prospects with them, but we will sometimes hurt ourselves in the attempt to get closer to the straight guys.  It is a vicious disappointment and quite unhealthy.  

I know the questions are for me and not the other way around, but why can't you just be gay or bisexual?  xD

Any opinionon the "butch/femme" dynamic in lesbianism? I used to have two housemates of the former type back in rural NC.

Considering that lesbians are quite as foreign to me as straight men, I cannot properly answer that.

What's your opinion on the kinsey scale. Do you meet a lot of guys who are degrees of gay/straight? Is that the same as bi?

I believe the Kinsey scale is quite accurate, and I have met men who fit all along the spectrum of sexuality.  

Bisexuality to me is simply the sexual attraction and sexual interactions with both sexes.
