I'm 40. My mother and grandmother smoked in the house while I was growing up, and I smoked for 13 years as an adult. I've been tobacco free for almost 9 years now, and I still get more lung infections than my never-smoking peers. I very much fear that lung cancer or COPD will be the death of me even though I quit.
