what's the atheist view? is it just that we don't believe in a god? or do you think there is something else too? I don't know, but for some reason I feel like you are saying we have a lot of things in common. I'm just going to assume that you aren't and you know that the only thing that makes us the same is lack of a belief in gods. that being said, it would be nice if there could be openly non-religious people in office. (in the US) I'm assuming that's not the case, because otherwise I think I would have heard about the outrage, but my political knowledge— well, I don't have much. (that's just a disclaimer in case I'm wrong, of course.)
