It would indeed be illogical (pardon the Vulcan in me) to be angry at an entity that one does not believe exists. It would be even more so if one DID believe in such an entity and professed anger at such being.
I think what happens is entirely a human trait to personify a thing by giving it something they can point too. So instead of saying the Christian religion is bad/good/negative/positive.... ect it is often easier and tempting to say that God (which represents all that is Christian) is bad/good/negative/positive and so on.
Emotion can be a wonderful thing but it can also cloud our judgement and actions (such as typing and expressing our selves)
By not wearing any type of colored glasses be they christian or secular then it is possible (just maybe) to see things clearly. This is not inherently easy. I'll take off mine if you take off yours. (kinky). However you won't because you risk Hell if you even once drop those glasses. I Have no such risk. If you are right then I'm already going there.
