Macroevolution (one species becoming another) hasn't been 'observed' because it takes such a long time for it to happen just the same that the formation of mountains have not literally been observed to happen.
However, any geologist will tell you all the processes involved in their creation because they have the geological records to study, and all makes perfect sense.
If each individual species was created by your god then why do animals such as wales have vestigial limbs?

These are just two of countless examples of one species that must have evolved from another.
To simply dismiss all this evidence as nonsense in favour of a belief that these species were created individually by an omnipotent being existing outside of time and space as described by desert goat herders living some 2600 years ago is quite extraordinary and even now, I still have trouble accepting that otherwise intelligent people can think this way
