Good ol' American exceptionalism. What applies to others bounces off us and sticks to you. Nazis roll into Poland = naked aggression. We roll into Iraq = pre-emptive strike .. the best defense is a good offense.
Some think we are the emissaries of God himself, come to spread democracy everywhere but at home.
I'm not sure if the stupid goes as deep anywhere else as it does here.
