5 different translations of the quran 33.21 saying how muhammed is a good example to follow for those whos hope lies in allah and the last day. Notice how it doesnt say muhammed is a good example at how to follow the commands of allah it only says he himself is a good example.
BUT dont model yourself on muhammeds code of conduct when it comes to wives because he deserves more than other muslims apparently in a few verses onwards.
This verse is saying how allah gave muhammed the right to have more than 4 wives because he is the prophet . god says he deserves more wives than the other believers, this message was relayed to the believers by muhammed coincidently.

O Prophet, indeed We have made lawful to you your wives to whom you have given their due compensation and those your right hand possesses from what Allah has returned to you and the daughters of your paternal uncles and the daughters of your paternal aunts and the daughters of your maternal uncles and the daughters of your maternal aunts who emigrated with you and a believing woman if she gives herself to the Prophet if the Prophet wishes to marry her,only for you, excluding the believers. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.

It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
