Greetings fellow travellers,
I have decided to join this forum out of curiosity, not to try and preach at or convert anyone, but to hear what atheism has to say, and perhaps to discover why it is so popular at the moment. I do find theist/atheist/deist etc debate very interesting. I am a lover of science and have a growing interest in philosophy (though my knowledge of it is rather poor). I thought it would be interesting and intellectually challenging to join a community such as this where my own belief and understanding of the world are likely to be challenged.
