God's self esteem and the human free will : NO FORCED CONVERSION WITH THE SWORD

God's self esteem and the human free will : NO FORCED CONVERSION WITH THE SWORD
Hello

Self esteem is probably the biggest pillar in any "explanation" process ; in other words : the more you believe and trust in your abilities, the more credibility you get.
Heck, a person coming to you "shaking" and crying yet scream "I'M NOT SCARED" is of course giving a big blow to her/his credibility !

One thing that made me believe in Islam is the self esteem God has. Throughout the Quran, there is a constant theme : either you believd or not, god will exist, he always existed, he always shall.

This verse is one example of this theme :
( 28 ) He said, "O my people have you considered: if I should be upon clear evidence from my Lord while He has given me mercy from Himself but it has been made unapparent to you, should we force it upon you while you are averse to it? page 224, Quran.

That is what Noah told his people when they wanted to kick him and his followers out for believing in god.
He had clear orders not to force faith upon anybody because simply : god is not begging for believers !

Another verse :
( 8 ) And Moses said, "If you should disbelieve, you and whoever is on the earth entirely - indeed, Allah is Free of need and Praiseworthy." page 256, Quran.

Well, it's humans who need to believe in god, not god needing believers. But the problem is : humans were created to live with a free will, you cannot live with a free will unless you believe in god..

In other words : a free will without a code of ethics led humans to invent atomic weapons, agent orange, napalm, WMDs. And now, the world sits on a boiling oven, just because of this unrestrained free will.

Islam's cause is to restrain and refine this free will, so life can go on peacefully.
No wonder god called those who have free will without proper constraints as blind, mute & deff in thought.

I'm not saying non Muslims have no ethics. Never said that. The Quran also never said that.. but give em more time. They'll give up these ethics or change them as time goes by, because simply these ethics aren't holly.

History proves how humans changed ethics through time ; what was a taboo yesterday isn't today ; what is not a taboo back then became a taboo now.
The LGBT debate nowadays is one big example.

So, that is what it's all about. Believe or not, god is not in need for your faith.
Instead, he created us, honored us, gave us blessings from A to Z, along with one fine free will. Each follows what he/she wants.

As a believer in Islam, I love getting my free will contaminated by Islam's laws. Not the extremist laws which are built upon fake "Hadiths" and scholar opinions, but the pure ones mentioned in the Quran only.

Thanks for reading : )
