Hey there and welcome! I'm sure you will fit in here better than I do ha ha.

Lord of the Rings? The interpretation I was left with, from watching the movie:
The RING stood for "Religion," so whoever got it ended up obsessed and high off abusing the power.

Frodo stood for Freedom, where he was not affected or corrupted by the power of the Ring or Religion that corrupted others.
and his buddy Sam stood for Uncle Sam or America that likes to stand for Freedom of Religion.
