Most Christians believe the following "rules" to be inspired AND applicable to post-Christ world
10 commandments
Anything Jesus said
Epistles (Pauline, Peter, James, John) - including if referring back to a specific OT "rule"
Don't get sucked into the "abolish the law" argument. That has long been settled in the Christian world.
Well,
not really.
Even the 7th Day Adventists miss the Sabbath by an average of 12 hours everyweek, hardly any of the other 'christians' even get within 24 hours of 'honoring' the Sabbath.
As for the Jesus crap, how many 'christians' running around do you see self-impoverished from giving alms to the poor? Hell, most of 'em even consider remarriage following divorce to be a fucking sacrament.
Tough taking the entreaties and beseeching we get here seriously when we just don't have any 'christians' doing it right.
Ever.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
