Drich the thing about parody is that it has to be slightly unbelievable - that's how the Onion is so good.  Your post sounds exactly like something you would genuinely, honestly say and believe, so it's not a good parody.  You are a Poe of yourself, and that's a fuckin' feat.

Dude how is me handing out tracts or working a toys for tot table at the very same store Brian walks into believable? Seriously not only that I intentionally corrupted my version of the events.

You guys are just hell bent on trying to crush everything I say, you miss out on so much of what I am saying.

Get past the idea that you are going to right or best me and just have some fun, and you might learn something you did not know.

Yeah, there was nothing there to clue me and others in to it being fake. Congratulations. Though when you said you were handing out flyers at food lion, I almost thought you were going to say that you were the man mentioned in the other thread.

I realised when reading the OP because I had just previously read Brian's post, but only because it mentioned Food  Lion (whatever that is)

The problem was that it wasn't particular funny. A potentially good idea that I have seen happen on discussion forums before but not well executed.

It needed to more obviously refer to Brian's first two paragraphs but it also needed a punchline at the end so that the joke was either on Brian or self deprecating humour which I would have gone with.

e.g.

PEOPLE ARE SO RUDE to me when I try to sell them crap in public or knock on their door at their house or even just peer through their bathroom window to see if they are in.

Just now at Food Lion I tried to hand a religious tract to some really angry dude while he was walking in, he walked past me and said, "There is no such thing as a magic man with super powers." I didn't respond, he didn't seem to care, nor was he looking at me when he said it.

I was devastated. Handing out religious tracts is the only way I'm allowed out to meet new people.

There was a joke in the I changed "there is no such thing as a magic man" to me misunderstanding him claiming to be a magic man purposely unprompted, which makes Brian a little bit of a skitso if you read his story and then mine.

In that brian in his mind is fending off religious persecution at the food lion, and I report I was just collecting toys for tots and did not even promted him for anything. yet he mutters his magic man dialog.

Sorry for the smart people joke. maybe next time I can do a fart joke or something with poo so you can understand what is suppoed to be funny.

That said I ended the OP the way I did just to point out there are two sides to that table at the entrance of the food lion. While you may thing the world revolves around you know that it doesn't. Your trudge that brought you all the way out to food lion in a taxi is a fraction of what it takes to go out set up a table and be shat on by people like you for several hours.

Most of you don't seem to be aware "those people" are still people. That was the point to all of this.. that and taking a poke at good olde abba fan #1

Funny story.. I was just at food lion handing out flyers and collecting for toys for tots and some lgbt member dressed like he belong in an 70 hair band got all pissy when I did not speak to Him. I just figured he wasn't the type who'd be interested in helping a child in need, then he mumbled that 'he was a magic man with super powers' or something like that. and march into the food lion with an uber driver trying to decide on whether he should leave him or not in the parking lot..

Some times I wonder what goes through people's heads/meaning what could have go so wrong in their lives that they just blindly hate God so, much they would piss all over this season which bring so many together.

Anyway  thought I would share.

You bucking for a report? You are mocking my story in this thread, If you are going to criticize me, do it in this thread. FYI this guy wasn't next to a kettle, or collecting toys. This guy was passing out tracts only. And I never use UBER, those jerks undermine worker pay.
