The guys at TDPRI's Pickup Subforum are a mixed bag, but some of them really know their shit. I'm not a member there but do read threads there as a guest.
And though it's a forum dedicated to Les Pauls, MLP's Tonefreaks subforum is populated by guys who both know plenty about Teles as well as good pickups for them, CooljUK in particular. He winds pickups for Rewind Pickups in England and has encyclopedic knowledge of them. I'm registered there under this name, so if I see you around I'll make sure to give you a wedgie.
