God never did write any book so don't believe all is written in books.
There may be some or a lot of truth in books but at the same time these books may well be written by people who had a different agenda like the corrupted priests.
Hey it's you that is spewing some sort of commandments by god like sex with animals and eating wild animals like some sort of crime against god, as if you read it somewhere. So if god didn't write anything how do you know that sex with animals and eating venison is wrong in god's eyes?
But then again you claim that nevertheless there is some truth in those books, so you got it from there after all? Let me guess you pick and choose from holy books what you want to believe.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
