The Hadith is written using "narrations" as old as 300 years or more of Prophet Mohammed -peace be upon him-.
The Quran is direct revelation from God revealed to Mohammed and written quoting Mohammed -peace be upon him- himself.
Your information are totally wrong.
It isn't, you know. If I understand Nudger on this, what he's saying is that it's no more possible to determine the authenticity of the Quran that it is to determine the authenticity of the ahadith. The standard is the same - you have to take someone else's word for it.
