People may like their homeland, and I have no bone to pick at that, but the thing I despise next to religion is nationalism. It is silly, short-sighted and the ultimate proof of ignorance. The sheer pride given to the fact that they 'worship' a patch of land arbitrarily chosen by men long dead in unclear and bloody ways, the whole arrogant demeanor of boasting to others that they are somehow 'better' makes me sick. There is no nation on Earth that hasn't born and thrived on the fall of other nations or people, its like the fat western man mocking the poor on africa because they should've be working for their food. If you look at Earth from space you see no borders, no countries.
