Funny you mentioned elevator. Once I had an interesting occurence with music and elevator. I went to my GP to give me a prescription. On the way back after I left his office, I was wearing big headphones (those big headphones some DeeJays use on concerts) but since I wasn't in the mood to put them on my ears, I just kept them on my neck. I was listening to a specific set of music meant FOR movies:
The moment I stepped in the elevator the 4th one (the video below) was playing and some retarded bitch told me to turn it off because she said she didn't wanna hear that kind of music while riding an elevator. Of course I told her she should take the stairs, if she's so scared of the elevator. She didn't but what happened in the next approximately 20 seconds made me think about the psychological effect music has on people, depending on the environment. So, the elevator was going down and it was only me and that retarded nurse in the machine. It stopped, more people came in and the most of them pressed the button for the lobby. There were 5 more storeys to before the lobby. Doors closed, my music was still playing and the elevator continued on its course. But on the 3rd storey someone had called for the elevator and ofc the machine stopped to pick them up. When it stopped, all those who had previously pressed the button for the lobby left the elevator as if the devil were behind them, leaving just me and the new passenger inside, who appeared to enjoy my music.
