Music You're Listening To:
So, I love music, LOVE it.  Been playing guitar for 20-odd years, play a bit of drums, bass.   Taste is what you would call eclectic, mainly heavy rock/metal, but I'll listen to jazz, classical, pop, folk...anything that's good really, as snobbish as that sounds.

Anyhoo, this year saw the return of one of the most influential metal bands in the last 20 years, SikTh.  They recently released a new EP and it is an absolute doozy.  They're an acquired taste, but once they get you, you're hooked:

I don't have an interpretation. Thank you for the complimentary Rabbi status though, I'm suitably flattered. I'll get back to you on your inability to use the internet later. Busy having a life here. I hope that you understand.

These two seem to be on the most rotation lately. Almost daily for the past month.

Sorry fro the DP, bt I think only three links are allowed per post. As well as indie, I listen to old jazz and drone. As far as drone/electronica, these are on tight rotation:

Those we love are never really lost to us - we feel them in so many special ways-
through friends they always cared about and dreams they left behind, in beauty that they added to our days... in words of wisdom we still carry with us and memories that never will be gone... Those we love are never really lost to us - For everywhere their special love lives on.

Lately, I've been (re)discovering Gordon Lightfoot - complex melodies, thoughtful lyrics, and damned fine musicianship.
