I know it's difficult not to say something back, not that I've ever really tried such a thing. I'm not big on tongue biting. That said, you want us to be bigger people. Change starts with you. Not you you, but you in the sense that everyone who wants to see something happen should be working for it, not just playing it lip service and waiting for everyone else to do the heavy lifting.
I try to model it. But you're right, I should try harder.
You should do whatever you want, but I think it would be easier for your group to "be the change." It could make a difference. To be honest, though, you're hardly the person I have in mind when I think of the hypocrisy that stemmed from this.
