I'm going to go count how many staff members predicted that these folks would leave anyway, in spite of our current efforts. Bye.
Even with some of us leaving, I think there is still merit in talking periodically about which direction you (general you) want the forums to go, or whether it should stay the same... which is fine too. I wouldn't call it a waste of time. It is a good thing either way, imho.
Other than that, I hope I'm not making anyone mad or offending anyone again by choosing to not post anymore. As I said, I have no hard feelings, am grateful for my time here, and plan on keeping in touch with the friends I've made. I don't think the choice to no longer participate in an online forum should be held against anyone, or that anyone should be made out to feel bad about it. No one is doing anything wrong by choosing to no longer participate in a forum.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
