From the point of view of Quran, corruption in religions always took place by fabricators until the reminder was forgotten (totally changed). Therefore it makes not only sense to be cautious of hadiths, but even Quran should not be blindly followed per Quran. Although I do believe Quran is without fault, that is not to say, it should blindly followed. It also cannot be proven to be without defect or fabrication by quoting a verse that it is without fabrication. That would be circular logic. Rather the wisdom of protecting the last revelation is itself key and how it's been protected needs to be investigated.
