Some words I hate in certain contexts.
David Cameron had a habit of saying "look" before everything he said for a while. Drove me mad.
And sometimes my wife is obviously upset about something, I enquire what the problem is only to be told "Nothing" but her tone and body language all tell me differently. I find this unhelpful.
And using fuck instead of leaving a space. Words like that should be used sparingly not all the fucking time. "I went down the fucking pub and had two fucking pints with me fucking mates" what has fucking added to that sentence? only length.
Other than that I think all words have their place. Even though offensive words can be jarring, jarring is sometimes called for.
