We will just have to agree to disagree then. I've been in plenty of situations (as a child and an adult) where someone has decided that something I have done (or not done) warrants physical violence on their part. I have first hand experience with this anywhere from an open handed swat on the bottom to being hospitalized. When you look at someone and know that they feel so superior to you that they believe they are justified in hurting you to scare you into doing things their way, it's a very disgusting and dehumanizing feeling. No one should ever be made to feel that way, especially not a child.
