Honestly, I can totally forgive a toilet paper snafu with Tibs. I've never in my life felt so much like a household was run as a team. Sure, I'm team leader when it comes to chores, but he's on board. He changes all the light bulbs and batteries too.
I need to borrow him so he can teach the other adult in my house what it means to be part of a team.
I've often said I wish I could clone him and share the clones with other women (particularly my sisters). Don't get me wrong. It was a learning process for both of us. We had to figure out what was important to who and how we could get it done. I'd like to think we run a pretty tight ship these days. I've learned to let go (there are actually dirty dishes just sitting over there in the kitchen and I'm doing nothing about it until tonight!), and he has learned my way of doing things. Love him to pieces.
