CJIS - Listen, you are creating a hostile working environment here. I know you're overworked, I know you're stressed, I know that you're not the least prickly of people anyhow...but, I'm keeping a log starting today. That email you sent me is extremely unprofessional, rude, and several friends in both the public and private sectors, when I read them a paraphrased version of what you sent called it things ranging from "wildly inappropriate" and also said things like "Go to HR over that bitch, you should not accept that from anyone, especially a subordinate". Now, I know you've been here for longer than I have, you've been here for the last SIX faculty in this department who left because it's such a hostile working environment, so I feel like going to HR now would be a waste. But I am keeping a log now. So the next time you commit a Federal crime by opening my mail (by accident you say), it's getting recorded. Every nasty email you send is being attached to this log. Every time you've not shown up for your Summer Office hours on time (3 times this week alone) and I'm here after you should be and you're not here? That's going in here too. I will build a case against you so airtight that if I do have to go to HR eventually, you will be terminated.
Can u .. just.. update us when/if u get that giant B tossed out of the office pleaSe?!?!!!
Now that, that stuff makes me smile. ^*^
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
