No at all. I'm catholic. The other catholic in this forum (ignorant) has said similar things. We are not a religion of "saved by faith", which is why so many protestants think catholics are not real Christians and will also go to hell.
And what would you say if someone proposed that Jesus was a hypocrite and not deserving of being idolized in any way, and nor is knowledge of him or any of his messages necessary to live a moral life? That's all secular morality is, the good stuff religion claims it monopolizes and yet without the nasty side effects. Also, how do you know that you're right and the other Catholics (or Protestants for that matter) are wrong?
Religions were invented to impress and dupe illiterate, superstitious stone-age peasants. So in this modern, enlightened age of information, what's your excuse? Or are you saying with all your advantages, you were still tricked as easily as those early humans?
