I bolded the only part of that you got right. No wonder you're having trouble identifying those types of transfer they're talking about, huh? Here, let me help you. When the first caliphate spread across the globe, it appropriated the conquered cultures superhard.
Does that help it click in your white skull? Do you understand the type of cultural transfer we're discussing now? It's not the kind where two people hang out together and one of them learns spanish. Get it?
