Since being diagnosed with MS, I've started vaping weed. I was looking at baking brownies but almost all the recipes call for cannabutter or heating oil for hours. This is a big NO for MS. Heated oils are toxic at the best of times. I'm currently experimenting with putting AVB in my fruit smoothies.
I did smoke a couple of spliffs before I bought my vape. I really hated it but it was useful to calibrate the effect.

You can apparently do an extraction with alcohol or food-grade glycerine as well, though I personally don't know the process
You -can- make oil at room temperature, THC readily binds with liquid fat - it just takes longer. I know olive oil works, as should any cooking oil.
Edibles are the way to go, IMO.
