We also believe we are supposed to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, visit the sick, love our enemies, and treat others as we want to be treated.

Point is, though, this isn't a church where we are supposed to accept any teaching uncritically and then be eternally thankful for it. There are no real boundaries on what can be posted here, beyond those set out in the Rules of course; However, expect that whatever you do say will most assuredly be questioned to death. If what they want to teach us can't stand up to that level of scrutiny, it may be time to rethink their position. In reality, what we usually get are bricks thrown at us for just not being fair and letting them win, dammit!
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
