OK, then interference in our elections by foreign powers in general isn't considered an issue, as there's no uproar over those endorsements.
We interfere in other governments when it suits us. Yes, governments have an interest in the form and leadership of other countries. Always have, always will. This only became a big deal because Trump.

As noted, the important thing about the email hacks was the content found. Regarding fake news and propaganda, the onus is on the candidates to point it out if they see it. Candidates themselves spread fake news and propaganda all the time - I don't see that a foreign power adding to it is a threat to our system.
