If anything the best attitude is to almost have no regrets and be glad of everything that has happened to you because it's made you who you are!
You've also said openly on AF before, so I am sure it's perfectly fine for me to mention it too--because it's already out there--that your marriage started out as an affair! So like, you can't have regrets about how that happened either because if it wasn't for that you wouldn't be where you are today!
No regrets, what life throws at us makes us how we are!
It's like, I don't regret my suicide attempt despite the fact I will NEVER do it again. Because it's part of how I am too! It's given me a whole new appreciation of life, because I am so glad it failed, and I am so glad to be alive! -- if feels like a second chance! I feel reborn because of it, it's awesome!
But of course I'd never recommend anyone ever do what I did and you wouldn't recommend affairs or temporary racism either! But still no regrets eh?
