Hello
I am Iranian. In Iran, if someone is agnostic or atheist, he declares that he is a Muslim.like In the Soviet Union, everyone declared that he was a communist and not christian! So if I, an Iranian agnostic, invent or discover something or win a sports prize, the Iranian government and other Muslims will advertise that a Muslim has won a prize under the teachings of Islam.

In Islam, human sciences and philosophy are strongly opposed because modern human sciences have indirectly invalidated the rules and beliefs of Islam. So some friends should not say that Islam is not against science.

Regarding Omar Khayyam, I must say that in addition to being a mathematician, he was also a poet and had declared the religion of Islam to be invalid and he was a type of agnostic. In the past, Islamic clerics destroyed his grave and now they are promoting that he was a Muslim scientist.

But I must say that Maryam Mirzakhani was oppressed by Muslims based on the teachings of Islam.
Islam says that faithet women must wear a hijab, and a woman who does not wear a hijab is a Muslim but has not faith.
But the Islamic government of Iran advertises that a woman without hijab is a bad woman.

Maryam married a non-Muslim man, and according to the teachings and laws of Islam, a Muslim woman who marries a non-Muslim man must (killed) be executed. (There are different jurisprudential opinions, some Muslim clerics decreed that her husband should be killed, and some considered forced divorce and the selection of a new husband by the clerics to be sufficient.)

I think Maryam was an agnostic or an atheist because the intelligence she had.

The above are the laws of Islam for husbands and wives.

These laws were not implemented in Maryam's case and the government did not bother her. But in an Islamic country whose government is also Islamic, such respectable women may be angered by a plaintiff or a mad judge at any moment.
