The truly amazing bit of the story is that Vukovar has had that name at least since the 13th century. Why aren’t we hearing more about the astonishing prophetic abilities of Slavic people? It’s pretty impressive for them to have picked that name - they clearly must have known that there would be a battle on that site eight centuries later.
