To my surprise, this doesn't cross me as shocking at all. Eating other humans is not very shocking, until you find somebody who IGNORES such incidents and take their sick beef with Muslims; claiming they are "the worst people on earth".

If the cannibal was Muslim; we would've heard all kinds of farts from media agencies; whining that "Muslims are so ugly and bad...we must invade them".

I don't know what they teach you in Islam school... but japan is not considered 'western culture.' As it was the Japanese guy who killed and ate a woman and the Japanese people who hold him up as a minor celebrity. To you eating bacon is the same as him eating this woman.. to him it is the same as well. it's his culture verses your that spell out it's morality.

And I was on a place where a Muslim man was taken off and it was more because he was looking to be an offensive dick playing the race card, than it had to do with his beard.

I have a beard most muslim men would beat their wives to have, but when I'm told to put away my computer or turn off my phone I turn it off, because if I don't I know there is always an air marshell or two ready to put their feet up my b-hole, not because of my race or beard but because I did not comply with protocol. if you watch youtube and people getting kicked of off flights.. it is always for the same reason.. they did not follow flight safety protocol. whether that is because you have a bomb or because you will not turn your phone off, or maybe the stewardess is just having a bad day either way the airline's reaction is always the same. You are comming off the plane and they will figure out your deal while everyone else leaves on time.

In defense of Atlas (something I hardly ever do), he didn't mention 'western culture', he mentioned 'western law enforcement'.  Sagawa was living in Paris when he committed his crime, and it was Western law enforcement that freed him.
