RE: Why is Jesus Circumcised and not the rest of the christians ?

In Judaism, the Bris Milah ((circumcision) is a very big deal, it is a symbol of keeping the covenant between God and Abraham.. Baby boys are circumcised 8 days after birth, by a specialist rabbi, called a Moheh, without anaesthetics. Baby is given a shot of wine first. Baby then screams a lot and everyone else has a party.
Interestingly, the US has the greatest number of non religious circumcisions in the world.

The US is the only country in the world where the majority of baby boys have part of their penises cut off for non-religious reasons. Yet this extraordinary custom is very much taken for granted.
