According to UCLA - trans folk are 18 times more likely to have attempted suicide in the past year compared to the general population.
Is a trans person more likely to commit suicide, or is a suicidal person more likely to change gender?
I wonder as one person I know tried committing suicide before transition.....
It is literally a overall societal social norm issue, regardless of topic.
If you are the minority, ANYWHERE in the world, it is far more likely, because of the social norms of that particular society you are going to be frowned upon, and thus have a harder time in life.
LBGT have a hard time in Islamic countries and in China and even Japan.
Yes, if you are a minority on any subject anywhere in the world, you are far more likely to have economic and social and emotional problems regardless of subject.
