And here the stupid Jesus thinks that God feeds birds—he thinks that birds put no effort into hunting for berries, seeds, insects, fish. Needless to say, that is very wrong. Birds frequently must abandon some of their chicks because they don't have enough food for all, and sometimes they even eat their young and feed them to each other.
This must be another of Jesus' cannibalistic teachings.
do you want to know why this message is lost on you?
You wrongfully assume that God only wants the best and easiest life for you. the he will put your wants and need first in this life and can/will only dare offer you the best.
when in truth God wants you to spiritually in a position to do/accept whatever it takes to be prepared for the next life. often time in the beginning (if we learn the lessons God would teach us) life is harsh and we might loose things we hold close, but over time/when we learn to seek sustenance from God we will have what we need and more to share. the reason you don't see this is because you only want what you label good or what comes easy. often what God initially offers is not what we considered to be good or easy.
