At one protein smoothie a day, it lasts about a month. A cup of milk (I use almond milk), a scoop of powder, and frozen fruit or ice and mix in a blender. If you use ice, you'll probably want to use some kind of flavoring. I use chocolate, caramel, and strawberry syrup, or those Italian syrups they sell to put in your coffee, but that's on top of fruit.I have a supply of mango syrup that I sometimes put in my tea. I actually looked at protein powder but wasn't sure what else to do. Thanks!
I picked up what I need to make overnight oats this morning. I didn't try it in the first batches that I made, but I can't imagine that adding protein powder to them wouldn't work. I add dried fruit or raisins to mine, and add artificial sweetener, so I'm sure with some experimentation I could kill two birds with one stone. I also used to add squeeze jam or jelly or syrup on top when I made hot oatmeal. I'm starting with fruit alone. I added frozen strawberries to one and raisins to the other. After a day in the fridge I suspect the fruit will have thawed. I don't know how long that takes, but I won't be making mine close to bedtime, so it may not be an issue. I can make 2-4 tubs at a time and stack them in the fridge as they keep for up to five days.
