The bullshit claim of "supply and demand" does not take into account that the CEOs market, and tell you what you want, even if that product is not practical or healthy.
Big oil for over a century, even when in the early 1900s were on the edge of solar/battery technology, the Oil CEOs constantly fought and squashed any attempt to compete with them. Tobacco did the same.
Even today, unlike some of our allies, America sells hard spirits on TV, and back when I was a kid, they did not. If big tobacco could get back on TV they would.
It ultimately amounts in all cases about human greed, not practicality, not safety, but MONEY.
And bullshit. While the little guy can collectively be the "David" vs "Goliath" the easier path is for those in power to stop being dicks.
