It's not so remarkable considering that there is no evidence that the Creator Who made all things exists.
Friend, look around you for one... these things that we enjoy on a daily basis (a sunny pleasant day, food, air, etc, etc, etc)... on a typically uninterrupted, continuous basis - do not come from a big bang or chaos or other - but evidently powerful, insightful purpose and order (not withstanding the curse on a fallen earth - apparent in the suffering and hardship present).
I am compelled to quote so that we all know what the Holy Bible says on the matter, in pertinent part - though there's more!
"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things." - Romans 1:18-23

That's your position and prerogative - but a substantively, fundamentally ungrateful position and dare I say - unwise. If someone were to do something nice, or even civil for/to you, wouldn't you be inclined to at least internally acknowledge said effort/action - talk much less of expressing thanks. All this notwithstanding - GOD bears up the pillars of the earth as this terrestrial ball continues on its predetermined axis and course until the end of the age and new creation. Always, but while it is today, it is good to give GOD thanks and seek Him while He may be found. (Isaiah 55:6, Hebrews 3:15).
"But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust." - Matthew 5:44-46
