How does Marxism promise a fairy tale? Is the idea of workers owning their own livelihood really that far fetched? In reality, we have miniature Marxism all over the place in the form of small businesses. If you have a business with, say, a dozen people and all are invested, that's a Marxist reality. How is that a fairy tale? There are also ESOP companies but I've never been a part of one so I don't know how they work. But those are somewhat close to Marxist in nature. It's the idea that you aren't just a paid hand, but rather a full owner in the work that you do. For whatever reason, it just doesn't scale.
