Umm, except that "Al Gore's scare tactics" are quite real for regions that are sub sea level. For them, it will be the fucking doom that Al Gore shrieks about.
As if Al Gore's credibility suddenly fucking undermines the conclusions of the IPCC, USGS and NOAA. Oh wait, it fucking doesn't.
And with regards to scare tactics, honestly riddle me this -- with the current state of the American public, the past decade of fear culture of terrorists and extreme politics, how can you not expect scare tactics for climate change?
Also, because of those "scare tactics", Al Gore helped make climate change into a household conversation.
Scare tactics are, by definition, deceptive. But what they use, content-wise, doesn't have to be.
