Loopy atheists;
I think the crack about loopy atheist scientists makes the common mistake of conflating correlation and causation. My observation is that the academic life generally attracts a disproportionate number of rather umm "different" people. My feeling is that is largely due to high intellect and the propensity of really smart people to be independent thinkers,which threatens the anti intellectual herd. Labels applied with a broad brush are often facile and shallow.
For common or garden variety atheist froot loops,I suggest visiting Raving Atheists Forum. Check out some of the inmates and the way they treat each other,it's quite toxic. Be sure to take a whip and a chair..
