Theists are claiming that people can say things in the bible without what they said becoming the word of god.

A question to theists; if you say the above, that people can say things in the bible that aren't the word of god, how many other things would you lose? You take plenty of advice from dialogue in the bible. In fact, many of the moral messages and commands are made by people or the narrator, and not god directly. Are you saying that only things that god said in the bible should be considered as his commands?

Your problem is you specify the question and generalize the answer. Yes the bible is the word of g God and is truth. Yes the bible contains people who sin who follow God. And yes the bible everyone sins including the best profits on the bible (exception of Jesus). I fail to see a contradiction here.

You avoided the question completely. In the future, if you want to say something completely unrelated, don't nest a quote to do it.

It's not unrelated and I did answer the question. You asked what would we lose If we admitt the above that people say things in the bible that aren't the word of God. Oh but I did miss your second question. No not just his commandments are considered holy word of God. All the stories are true, and everything said by a profit in those stories are what they said. As for this verse, it is true that David prayed for destruction of Babylon. Whether this is right or not is for God to decide but I'm sure such graphical details are not from God. But keep in mind this man did see a lot of war and so he probably had post dramatic stress disorder worse than most soldiers today get.
Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war's desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

Just because God inspires the words a man writes does not mean He approves of the actions of the characters in the story or in this case a song.

Timothy 3:16 KJ Wrote:All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Fuck you lying christoholic.

So what is the alternative you suggest? The stories of the bible be about men who always did right? If that happened it would not be truthful. What the bible tells us to do is what we should do. What the bible says about great people who sinned their sin should not be glorified. That's all I'm saying. Even the greatest sin and it's not contradictory not to follow them when they do their worst but when they do their best.

No, the alternative I would suggest is that all you fucking deluded pieces of walking scum should forget about Yahweh's book of fables and tall tales. I just posted a verse that was referring to the only scripture at the time and that was the Torah, Navvim and Ketuvim which is the Tanakh or as you know it the Old Testament.

You completely miss the point. You ask the impossible of the bible. It can either say the truth that the prophets sinned or a lie that they didn't. You cannot ask for both.

I'm asking something of the bible? You are a fucking deluded idiot. If you think the bible holds any authority, you are a christoholic and I have no desire to argue mythology with you. Just remember I do have the right to point out your idiocy and I will continue to do so.

From what premise do you come to that conclusion then? If not to say we lie saying the profit's sins are not God's will?

Gpod one.... Since you refuse to have rational discussion anymore I refuse to further this conversation.

How to shut a christoholic's mouth with one sentence...

"I was told by god you're a fucking idiot and who the hell are you to argue with god?".
