Evolution

RE: Evolution
Mind you, evolution DOES NOT cancel out creationism. Fact vs fairytale is not a good match.

RE: Evolution
If God saw that his creation was "good" (Genesis) then He was a piss-poor judge considering what's become of it, or He didn't have His glasses on at the time...
We call that the butcher rating his own meat.

It also casts serious doubts on God's omniscience. Because He continually demonstrates He knows fuck all! Big Grin

RE: Evolution
If I want a lesson about evolution I would speak to an evolutionary biologist and and not a mathematician even if he did have a slight dalliance with biology in his early career.

That guy wouldn't know science if it bit him on the ass.

He's well known because he has a fluid style, but it always comes down to strawman argument.

If you’re going to watch tele, you should watch Scooby Doo. That show was so cool because every time there’s a church with a ghoul, or a ghost in a school. They looked beneath the mask and what was inside?

If I wanted a lesson about God I would speak to a theologian and not an evolutionary biologist. I suspect you don't follow your own advice on this matter...What gives Dawkins any authority to speak about God?

The amount of education (intelligence Tongue) needed for becoming an evolutionary biologist compared to becoming a theologian isn't the same.

Anyway, I wouldn't talk to a biologist about god. I would have no reason to do such a thing.

No more than anyone willing to read up on theology and philosophy. Do you seriously think we're atheist because we read the God Delusion, anymore than you're christian because you read Christian Theology: An Introduction.

Nice try at diversion thou.

First of all, I wasn't entirely serious, hence the smiley face dude. Secondly, I am familiar with him, it is a shame that such a smart guy devotes so much time to utter nonsense. Although, from interviews I have seen he does seem like a decent guy.
