You're right it's not really a proof. Instead it shows this 'god' concept doesn't add up to anything that even people of the same religion will agree upon.

I've often thought, IF god was real then the world would be so much more different to now. His existence would be so undeniable that the human race would have unified under one religion, THE true religion. Instead all I see is bloodshed because no one has anything to show for their god except how dangerous they can be through blind faith.

That's fine, I'm pretty sure they do. But two things:

1. If by the claim of "omnibenevolent", you mean "anything any particular believer wants to claim", then the term is meaningless.

2. Many believers cite the alleged existence of objective morality as a reason for belief. So from this sort of reference frame, no - believers don't get to make it up. However, non-believers do Smile
