Well more to the point, lying is a sin, sin wasn't released until the fall.
God punished Adam and Eve for eating an apple after they were told its alright to do so, despite no basis for understanding what a lie was, or that the statement does not supsersede God's first word, because lies don't exist for Adam and Eve. If God couldn't see the fall coming, he is a retarded God, an impotent one, or a malicious one. Again, and to the point, if God can see the fall coming, it is not the gift of free will to allow them to be deceived when they cannot conceive of deception itself. It follows, that the Snake (probably Satan thou not named) is actually conducting God's will.

If everything is God's will, isn't Satan, and evil, and temptation, and everything else that's supposed to be bad God's will too? So WTF does he want from us?

Again no, God's will wasn't having Lucifer to turn against Him, this action of Lucifer brought evil into existence, Lucifer's temptation of Adam and Eve resulted in them disobeying God, thus bringing sin into the world. What God wants from us is our love.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
