I do not know because I've never been presented any that gives any indication of his existence.

Anything that when displayed to me in some way would indeed be an indication that he actually exists.

Something that somehow gives credence to his existence.

I think it's impossible personally....but that is just my opinion and I know I can be wrong. So I'm open minded.

I'm more interested in why YOU believe - I certainly don't EXPECT to find any evidence of God anywhere....but if I did it would IOW have to be some indication that he actually exists.

Why do YOU believe? Because I look and I see no evidence - you look and you see reasons to believe. If these reasons are valid they would be evidence - and they are obviously valid to YOU otherwise you wouldn't believe. So to YOU they're evidence; but since I assume you believe that God OBJECTIVELY exists and not just for you - you also need objective EVIDENCE that he exists because you cannot have subjective evidence for something objective.

So IOW if your reasons are valid for God existing OBJECTIVELY they would ALSO have to be objective TOO, IOW they'd be evidence - and they'd have to apply to me and whoever else as well as yourself therefore.

Why do Christian dominated countries have higher murder and suicide rates than secular countries?

Why does God want us to love him more than anyone else?

Would you really enjoy heaven knowing that many of your closest friends and relatives were in hell?

If you lost your faith would you suddenly start killing and stealing?

Do you accept evolution by natural selection?

Do you take the story of Noah literally?

Why would a loving god create people knowing beforehand they would be destined for hell?

Why does the Bible condone slavery and even give advise on how to manage a slavery business?

Do you believe that if, on your wedding night, you discover that your wife is not a virgin you should kill her?

Why do Christians use science to back up their claims if they can but reject it when it disagrees with them?

And the most important.

Why (even though I have taken you up on your offer) do you think that we actually want to ask you any questions? After all, we're not atheists because we are 'lost' and in need of guidance. If that's what you think and by sharing your 'knowledge' with us you will affect some miraculous change then you are in for a shock.

Well, it really does irritate me that they come along to an atheist forum and say things like, "I'm a Christian, ask what you want about my faith" ... I mean, do they not get that we're just a wee bit past that stage, past wanting to know about their stupid fucking belief system? To be brutally honest, it's pathetic (and yeah, I'm talking about you Mr Perfect [expletive deleted] Christian)!

Oh, and for anyone out there who's curious, it's times like this I earn the "Angry Atheist" Moniker

Oh - do not think I was in anyway being cynical or sarcastic or suggesting that you were oversimplifying things.

I fully advocate the statement you made hehe. Which I'd said it myself first.

Or my own equivalent like: "Give my one reason to no longer go on believing that the bible is a load of total and utter bullshit in page form! (Other than perhaps an interesting document for entirely historical purposes - as far as I'm concerned it's a pile of fucking bullcrap)." - or something to that effect lol.

And yeah it CAN be annoying when Christians are so ignorant as to stereotype us atheists like that...

But my own PERSONAL reaction is when I'm not pitying their ignorance I'm trying not to laugh in their face...

In fact, basically it's always both; simultaneous for me lol - I pity their ignorance while trying not o explode with laughter in their face. I'm still in disbelief that people can believe that shit so sincerely and really BE that ignorant - I think I always WILL BE in disbelief over that. It's HARD for me to not laugh about it man...

It's either concealed or in-concealed laughter; but it's often only in my head, entirely mental - because if it wasn't I'd probably die from laughing out loud so often lol, whether constantly HARD laughter or not hehe. Cos I'm laughing a LOT mentally whenever I'm talking to a theist lol hehe - I don't think I'd be able to function if that was all external LOL.
